Director/Producer/Videographer
Who am I
My approach to filmmaking and marketing centers on the belief that visual media must serve a clear strategic purpose, not just look good. By uniting compelling visual storytelling with psychographic audience alignment, I craft content that translates a brand's core identity into tangible business outcomes. Whether producing cinematic pieces or structured corporate communications, I design every frame, transition, and motion graphic to build trust, communicate complex value propositions, and drive audience engagement.
My Background
With a multidisciplinary background spanning live broadcast production, narrative short films, and commercial corporate projects, I bring a versatile, end-to-end skill set to every phase of visual media. Having honed a deep technical foundation through hands-on roles, including producing student projects like "The White Box", managing production workflows, and executing complex live environments, I am adept at balancing technical precision with creative problem-solving. Whether operating high-end camera packages, coordinating multi-camera shoots, or designing clean motion graphics and post-production pipelines, I deliver polished, broadcast-quality assets tailored to meet rigorous organizational goals and tight deadlines.
Technical Philosophy & Tool Stack
My technical approach is rooted in understanding the universal mechanics of filmmaking rather than memorizing brand-specific menus. While I frequently shoot on Sony systems, leveraging my Sony A7IV kit, Sigma glass, and manual focus-pulling workflows, my priority is always mastering the core fundamentals of exposure, lighting, color science, and camera movement regardless of the hardware in hand.
On the post-production side, I believe in utilizing the right tool for the job depending on the project's demands:
Adobe Premiere Pro: My primary workhorse for deep timeline control, advanced multi-cam editing, and seamless integration with motion graphics pipelines.
Final Cut Pro: An exceptionally efficient tool for rapid assemblies, fast turnarounds, and streamlined offline-to-online workflows.
DaVinci Resolve: The absolute industry standard and my go-to for precise, high-end color grading and finishing work.
The "Work Backwards" Methodology
My approach to production is built on a simple rule: the cheapest and most effective way to make a video is to focus as much energy as possible on paper first. I always work backward. It starts with the audience, identifying what the viewer actually wants and needs to see. From there, I move into the editing room to map out structural requirements, such as dual-aspect framing for multi-platform horizontal and vertical deliverables. Finally, I take all of that data back to pre-production to engineer a precise, efficient shoot day where every single frame is captured with absolute intent.
